The subjects are statues, inspired by Greco-Roman art and sculpture, digitally stylized to blend with the futuristic vibe of 2000s video games: their surfaces may appear cracked or pixelated, almost as though they are artifacts uploaded from a past world into the digital sphere. This blend of classicism and cyberculture creates an otherworldly contrast that speaks to a blend of both ancient and digital euphoria.
Each poster in the collection feels like a portal to a different world, marrying the exuberant graphics of modern rave posters with exaggerated pixelation reminiscent some of my favorite video game aesthetics.
